Shared measurement is a contemporary approach for bringing stakeholders together to identify a common purpose, understand shared outcomes and developing shared indicators and measures.

Consistent and overarching approaches are espoused to support a deeper understanding of issues and the options for response, share accountabilities and reduce the cost of measurement, but what does this look like in practice and what are the challenges and implications for the sector?

    SPEAKER

Stephen Bennett has over eight years of experience working with for-purpose organisations to demonstrate and increase their impact.

In his current role at the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria, he is working on designing and implementing new approaches to embed the use of evidence-informed practices and programs in the children and family sector.

Before this, Stephen was a researcher and social impact facilitator at the Centre for Social Impact leading the development of shared outcome measurement in the housing and homelessness sector in NSW and measurement and evaluation approaches for outcomes-focused commissioning and placed-based interventions.
