Join the SIMNA Sydney Committee and their star studded speaker panel as they explore the benefits, pitfalls and challenges of impact reporting.

But, what is social impact reporting anyway? Why is it important and how does it help for-purpose organisations set themselves apart?

All of these questions and more will be discussed in this not to be missed webinar. At the end of the webinar, the Zoom room will remain open for networking and further discussion.

MEET OUR PANELLISTS:

Our panellists represent funders, data collectors and impact report writers.

Antonia Ruffell - CEO of Australian Philanthropic Services

Antonia Ruffell is a passionate philanthropy specialist, CEO and charity director, with over two decades of experience working across the not-for-profit and corporate sectors.

Antonia is CEO of Australian Philanthropic Services, an independent, not-for-profit organisation that establishes and administers private ancillary funds and offers a public ancillary fund, the APS Foundation.

Lucy Brotherton - Community Capacity Building Officer (Social Investment), City of Parramatta Council

Lucy implements and facilitates a range of social investment activities in the Parramatta Local Government Area. Activities include running events such as pitching and crowdfunding programs, training and networking for social enterprises, education and engagement activities to increase business and community awareness and interest in social investment, and running a social enterprise grant program.

She is a passionate advocate of the power of social investment to reframe thinking, promote creative partnerships and find innovative and sustainable solutions to complex issues. She knows that local government has a key role to play in this area, using local knowledge and networks to deliver meaningful and highly visible local projects.

Matt Bevan - Uniting NSW.ACT

Matt believes that if we want to make the world a better place, we need to consider the impact our activities have on people and the planet.

Matt also believes that a better understanding of social impact is achievable for all organisations and people willing to ‘give it a go’.

He is currently the Outcomes Measurement Lead for Uniting NSW.ACT (a large church based social services organisation) where he is leading the development of outcomes measurement across its diverse services. He is also Chair of the SIMNA Sydney Committee.

We look forward to seeing you there!
